Location
Zitadelle - Italienische Höfe und Gotischer Saal
Am Juliusturm 64 - 13599 Berlin

Five splendid barrel vaults found in cellar wall of the Brandenburg Bastion of the citadel are known as the Italian Courtyards. Those familiar with the Mediterranean architectural style, immediately feel as if they had been moved to Italy; the architects were Italians. Today, the technical equipment makes all kinds of events feasible. The 5, differently sized rooms with a total of 750 sq. m. can even be extended into the open entry-courtyard.

Standing in the Gothic Hall, one is impressed not only by its warm aura but also by its unique acoustics. For a concert or reading, the Gothic Hall provides 300 sq. m. for about 240 people. A concert piano is available for concerts.

This Hall is frequently used for weddings, receptions and dinners. In these cases it is recommended, that one also takes advantage of the adjoining foyer with an additional 250 sq. m. The Foyer nestles next to the Julius Tower with a stairway and lift which open directly into the Gothic Hall.
