Umspannwerk Kreuzberg

Our venue is located in an ancient transformer station, built in 1922. Five years ago the whole site was carefully restored and we are now proud to offer a venue which combines the unique atmosphere of an industrial factory with cutting edge technology. We are happy to dispose of a number of different event spaces which can be optimally adapted to individual requirements. The heart of Umspannwerk is a specious event hall (Generatorenhalle) in which up to 450 guests can easily sit down on lovely decorated round tables and enjoy a gala dinner.

Food and beverages are provided by Reataurant VOLT one of Berlin’s top class restaurants, also located at Umspannwerk. A special feature of the main hall is a basin, used for water installations (illuminated fountain), that visually and acoustically underline the distinctive atmosphere of the whole space. Another highlight is our bar and lounge area, located underneath the main event hall. This area is a stylish venue perfect for all kinds of parties and receptions for up to 400 guests.
