Tempodrom

At just five minutes walking distance from Potsdamer Platz it is considered to be the quick-change artist among Berlins event venues. Due to its sensational archtitecture and elaborate multifuctionality, the Big and Small Arena, the Foyer and the Roof Terracce offer best conditions for any event. Beneath the 30 m high dome, mobile tribunes and partition walls open up vast creative leeway for 50 to 3,500 guests. The Big Arena is at the heart of the Tempodrom. On the basis of the latest technical equipment and flexible room-elements, the Tempodrom sets the stage for any kind of event - whether galadinners, awards, receptions or meetings

The circular shaped Small Arena is the secret star of the Tempodrom.Up to 400 guests can enjoy receptions, product presentations, press conferences, readings or concerts in an intimate atmosphere. If required the Small Arena can be connected to the foyer of the Big Arena by retracting the mobile walls -thus creating a grand sized event location with room for up to 1,000 guests.As an ideal complement there is a grand-scaled, walkable terrace on the roof of the Tempodrom.

The Tempodrom especially intercedes for environment protection. The building was already concluded with a great consideration of natural resources. Besides having a solar and photo-voltaic installation, an earth heat exchanger as well as a heat recovery plant, the Tempodrom buys green electricity. These and several other measures save energy included CO₂ just as an efficient control technology.
