The New Museum was reopened on the 16th of October 2010 and completes the world cultural heritage Museum Island. It now represents the Egyptian Museum and the Papyrus Collection, the Museum of Prehistoric and Protohistoric History and individual pieces of the collection of antiques. Offer your guests the opportunity of an exclusive guided tour in line with a cocktail reception or dinner outside opening hours in this unique place of art, culture and history.

The Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection exhibits an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian master pieces from 3000 B.C. until roman times. The most famous piece of the collection is the bust of Nefertiti.The Museum of Prehistoric and Protohistoric History shows archaeological exhibits of Europe and the Middle East from the Stone Age until the Middle Ages. Specific highlights are the "Trojan Antiquities" and the "Berlin Gold Hat" from the Bronze Age.
