Unique features The Jerusalem Church is centrally located between Checkpoint Charlie and the Jewish Museum. Built in the 1960s, the church combines straight lines and clarity of design with stately parquet flooring and warm clinker bricks. Mobile partitioning walls allow the interior to be adapted for a variety of purposes. The Jerusalem Church is the perfect venue for events for up to 320 persons, for gala dinners and distinguished receptions, for conferences and for seminars.

Historical background Built in 1484 on the corner of Jerusalemer Straße and Lindenstraße, the Jerusalem Church was the oldest church in the historical district of Friedrichstadt. It was destroyed during World War II and subsequently demolished. The Jerusalem Church as it stands today was erected in 1968 in the narrow angel between Lindenstraße and Markgrafenstraße. The site where the church once stood is now occupied by the Axel Springer building.

Green meetings Climate Considerate Conferences – Conferences can now be held in a climate friendly way in the Jerusalem Church. A new, climate calculator calculates the specific CO2 emissions of the event. The resulting emissions can be compensated for through investment in approved, climate protection projects. With this worldwide recognized form of compensation the event receives the status of "climate neutrality". The green event will be rounded off with electricity from renewable energy sources and organic drinks.
