Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart
Invalidenstraße 50-51 - 10557 Berlin

The Hamburger Bahnhof is situated close to the government district and next to the main train station of Berlin. It was built in 1847 as a train station connecting Berlin and Hamburg until the late 19th Century. After its destruction in the Second World War, a renovation in the 1980s and a reconstrucition by Josef Paul Kleihues, it is now Berlin's Museum of Modern Art since November 1996. Next to the permanently shown Erich marx Collection, wich shows art works of Beuys and Warhol several temporary collections are shown throughout the year.

As an event location, the Hamburger Bahnhof offers a large variety of event concepts such as weddingparties, workshops or high class dinner events.
